RFTS Outreach Worker

The Children’s Home Society of WV in Parkersburg is looking for a RFTS Outreach Worker.  Goal of this position is to provide clerical, administrative and outreach functions needed to support the services for a given program and location in providing for the ongoing care and safety to children and families.  Key job functions include typing correspondence and ensure accuracy of documentation and correspondence, including but not limited to: letters, memos, reports, minutes, monitoring reviews, forms, and spreadsheets performed by specified program and location, operate office equipment, setup and maintain resource files, distribute mail, maintain site library and assist supervisor in preparation of all monthly and other specified reports as needed.  Requirements for this position are as follows, High School Diploma or GED; demonstrated experience with office equipment, word processing, database, and technology; proper grammar and spelling; driver’s license; insurance coverage as required by law and agency policy; training required by agency; criminal background and child abuse registry checks; background approval by agency; 24 hour availability to work with irregular hours; ability to work under pressure and multitask; annual approved physical and TB documentation.
