Transitional Living Program
Under a grant awarded by the Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) program, our Transitional Living Program serves youth in Wood County from our Parkersburg Community-Based office. We assist runaway and homeless youth in locating safe, stable, and appropriate housing, and provide financial assistance for up to 18 months. Youth receive comprehensive services that supports the youth’s transition to self-sufficiency and stable, independent living. Outcomes for participating youth are safe and stable housing, education and/or employment, permanent connections, and social and emotional well-being.
This program is supported by Grant Number 90CX7523-01-00 from the Family and Youth Services Bureau within the Administration for Children and Families, a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
