After School Program Group Leader

Children’s Home Society of WV in Parkersburg is seeking a Group Leader for the Jefferson Elementary Afterschool Program. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass all CIB, FBI and abuse and neglect background checks. Ideal candidates will have a driver’s license, available and reliable transportation, valid automobile insurance, a demonstrated ability to work with children and their families, possess good communication and leadership skills, with previous experience in a child care setting. Primary job duties include providing homework assistance, leading recreation, craft and group activities and providing good role modeling for youth. Must be available Monday – Friday between the hours of 1:00-6:00pm for an average of 20-25 hours a week.
