Out-Of-School Time Program Site Supervisor


Children’s Home Society of WV is seeking a Site Supervisor for its Out-Of-School Time Programs, including the Jefferson Elementary After School Program and the CHS Summer Youth Program. Primary job duties are to assist the Program Director in the planning and carrying out of day-to-day program activities, including afterschool and summer programs; to perform all duties and responsibilities of a Group Leader, to serve as the Person in Charge for the operation of the program in the absence of the Director, assist with projects and programs of the Family Resource (Support) Center, and to provide for the ongoing care, safety and supervision of youth in out-of-school time settings.  

Requirements:  Must be at least 21 years of age, High School Diploma or GED; 18 months of supervised relevant work experience, timely training required by agency policy; criminal background and child & adult abuse registry checks; ability to work under pressure and multitask; annual approved physical and TB documentation. Driver’s license and available automobile and insurance coverage as required by law and agency.   

Preferred: An Associate Degree in Elementary Education, Child Development or related human services field; previous experience in a licensed child care setting.
