Mental Health Social Worker or Licensed Counselor-School Based

Martinsburg

Children’s Home Society of WV in Martinsburg is seeking two (2) Mental Health Social Worker or Licensed Counselor-School Based. This position requires a Masters Degree in Social Work; strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy modalities and the ability to use interventions with children and adolescents, families and groups; clear knowledge of professional boundaries; strong  verbal and written communications skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; working knowledge of evidence-based trauma interventions and the impact trauma has on youth; knowledge of child and adolescent development;  good time management and organization skills; able to work irregular hours with 24 hour availability; ability to work under pressure and multitask; driver’s license; insurance coverage as required by law and agency policy; training required by agency; criminal background and child abuse registry checks; background approval by agency; annual approved physical and TB documentation.

Applicant must pass FBI/CIB background checks as well as CPS/APS background checks.

Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
