Make a difference in a child’s life.

The Children’s Home Society of West Virginia has been finding lifetime families for West Virginia children since 1896. But, at this moment, the need for our services is the greatest it’s ever been: more families are in crisis, and more kids are in need of safe and stable homes.

We’re confident, though, that the tools and resources we need to care for every child do exist. It’s just a matter of bringing them all together—and you can help. By donating today, you can help us create spaces of belonging and circles of support around kids, map out brighter futures, and transform worlds. Make a difference in a child’s life now.

About the Neighborhood Investment Program

The Neighborhood Investment program was established by the West Virginia Legislature in 1996 to increase charitable giving to local non-profit organizations. The program allows 501(c)3 designated charitable organizations to apply for tax credit vouchers. These organization then distribute the vouchers to businesses and individuals who contribute to the organizations. By donating to approved NIP organizations, contributions can support their communities and earn credits to reduce certain West Virginia taxes.
