Family Resource Center Assistant
Children’s Home Society of WV is seeking a Family Resource Center Assistant at our Martinsburg site. Applicants are expected to demonstrate the ability to complete tasks associated with operation of the center such as transporting, storing and organizing food, clothing, personal care items, furniture, housewares etc. These services are to preserve and strengthen parent/child relationships; provide supports that parents need to be good nurturers and providers; gain self-sufficiency and reduce the risk of child abuse, child neglect, and juvenile delinquency. Requirements for this position include High School Diploma or GED; demonstrated ability to work with children, families; driver’s license; available automobile and insurance coverage as required by law and agency; training and credentialing as required by the agency; criminal background and child abuse registry checks; 24-hour availability to work with irregular hours; ability to work under pressure and multitask; annual approved physical and TB documentation.
