To expect that information about donations is handled
with respect and confidentiality.
To have access to
the Society’s most recent financial statement.
To
be informed whether those seeking donations are
volunteers, employees, or hired solicitors.
To know that donors
may have their names deleted from the Society’s
mailing list if requested.
To feel free to ask questions and
to receive prompt and truthful answers to those questions.
To
be informed of the identity of those serving
on the Society’s Board of Directors, and to expect
the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship
responsibilities.
To
be informed of the Society’s mission, our intended
use of donated resources and our capacity to
use donations effectively.
