This page allows you to create and maintain a host specific exclude list, specify what action to take when a message is identified as spam, and specify whether to use the primary host’s word counts or create new ones. The advanced options control the underlying functionality of the statistical filtering component. The list box displays the contents of the current exclude list.
Procedures:
Options:
Enable Statistical Filtering (selected by default). Select this option to enable the statistical filtering options. If this option is cleared, all options on this screen are disabled.
Action. Specify one of the following actions to take on a message that is identified as spam:
Delete. Immediately deletes the message.
Forward to. Forwards the message to the e-mail address that is entered in the ADDRESS box. If no address is entered, spam is sent to a "bulk" mailbox for the "root" account.
Insert X-Header (default). Inserts an X-Header into the message indicating that it was identified as spam by statistical filtering.
Use Primary Domain’s Anti-Spam Table (enabled by default). Select this option if you want to use the primary host’s antispam-table.txt file instead of creating a new one for the host. Enabling this option also saves memory by reading the file directly from the primary host’s directory. Note that this option is disabled for the primary host.
To set the advanced statistical filtering options, click Advanced.
Note:You can obtain an updated antispam-table.txt file from the Ipswitch web site at www.ipswitch.com.
